Jennings Chevrolet, your local car dealership, is here to share some exciting news with you today regarding a new large and powerful vehicle. Just debuted, the upcoming Chevy Silverado Heavy Duty is bigger and stronger than ever. We have a feeling this Chevy truck will be a real hit once it’s on our lot next year!

The American pickup truck market is booming, and that includes the upcoming Chevy Silverado. The heavy-duty model has basically the same bones as the Chevy Silverado 1500 Light Duty, but so much more – including a new design, more interior space, and a diesel engine that gets up to 910 lb.-ft. of torque.

The 2020 Chevy Silverado Heavy Duty is made for people who want the horsepower and high-strength steel architecture for heavy payloads and long-distance hauling.

“We know the needs and priorities of heavy-duty customers are different than those of either light-duty or medium-duty customers,” said HD Chief Engineer Jaclyn McQuaid. “We built a heavy-duty, truck tailor-made for them that has more differentiation than ever before from light-duty models.”

According to Chevy engineers, the model was meant to make a statement reminiscent of heavy machinery with modern, chiseled finishes and customer-focused details. Though we don’t know all of the specific engine options yet, we know there will be some variety, but all with plenty of power.

We look forward to sharing more information about this truck with you in the near future. And when it’s on our lot in Glenview next year, you can bet we will be ready to offer you a test drive in the beastly 2020 Chevy Silverado HD.
